Hi everyone!

In just 12 short days, InfoCamp Seattle 2007 will kick off (October 13
& 14). We've added two featured speakers - Nick Finck (local UXnet
ambassador and Blue Flavor co-founder) and Bob Boiko (author of The
Content Management Bible, UW Information School instructor, and
founder of Metatorial Services Inc).

InfoCamp Seattle will be a 2-day conference focused on user-centered
design and information issues. The format will be open (based on the
BarCamp un-conference format), which basically means that all
attendees are invited to present, discuss, and collaborate in a series
of open format workshops. Since InfoCamp will also be the Pacific
Northwest chapter's annual meeting, many of your ASIS&T colleagues
will be present, but we will also be joined by practitioners in other
user-centered fields and professions. For more information about
InfoCamp Seattle, check out our web site:
http://asistpnw.org/infocamp2007

Registration is still open - only $20 (and FREE for ASIS&T member, IAI
members, students, and event volunteers). All are invited!

The meetup this month will be supplanted by InfoCamp, so join us at
the Youngstown Cultural Arts Center on October 13th & 14th for your
monthly networking fix. Meetups will resume at the same time and place
in November.
