Hello ASIS&T 2011 Doctoral Student Attendees,

On behalf of SIG ED, I would like to invite you to the panel
"Preparing for the Academic Job Market: An Interactive Panel for
Doctoral Students" on Tuesday, October 11th at 8:30am.

The function of this panel is to provide an interactive platform for
faculty members, at all stages of their careers, to provide advice and
input for doctoral students nearing the completion of their doctoral
work. This panel will provide valuable insight on finishing the
dissertation, going on the job market, and beginning an academic
career. The format will allow participants to ask questions
anonymously. The six panelists include:
- Dr. Naresh Agarwal, Simmons College
- Dr. Michelle M. Kazmer, Florida State University
- Dr. Howard Rosenbaum, Indiana University, Bloomington
- Dr. Barbara Wildemuth, University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill
- Dr. Carolyn Hank, McGill University
- Dr. Elizabeth Liddy, Syracuse University

Hope to see you there! If you have questions, please don't hesitate to
ask Dr. Cassidy Sugimoto (sugimoto at indiana.edu) or myself.
