About MNASIS-L	English (USA)
MNASIS-L is the electronic mailing list devoted to the issues of interest to the membership of the Minnesota Chapter of the American Society for Information Science and Technology. This electronic forum will serve as the primary direct method of communication to and among members of the Minnesota Chapter of ASIS&T, serving the states of Iowa, North Dakota, South Dakota and Minnesota. We appreciate your interest and invite your participation. Official chapter mailings are posted here and will not be sent by U.S.P.S. mail unless you have requested to receive paper mailings. One must be a subscriber to the list to post messages, however, this list is unmoderated. This means that, once you are subscribed, any message that you post to MNASIS-L will automatically be distributed to all subscribers if it is sent in plain text format. Using MNASIS-L
To post a message to all the list members, send email to mnasis-l@asis.org. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.
Subscribing to MNASIS-L
Subscribe to MNASIS-L by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. This is a hidden list, which means that the list of members is available only to the list administrator. Your email address:   Your name (optional):   You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription. You can always request a mail-back of your password when you edit your personal options. Once a month, your password will be emailed to you as a reminder.
